Due in part to the effects of climate change in recent years, frozen specimens of paleontology such as mammoths in good condition have been unearthed one after another from the permafrost of the Sakha Republic.
In 2018, the excavation team organized by the Northeastern Federal University of Russia and the Institute of Northern Applied Ecology for this special exhibition witnessed the present state of permafrost in the vast Siberian land.
